The 2009 RRD Obsession is the only pure SLE kite in the RRD line for 2009. The RRD Obsession 2009 is perfect for kiteloops, riding unhooked and waveriding. The Obsession 2009 is based on the RRD type 9 2008 with revised shape, Tips width and outline design. The result is an even more stable kite, faster in the big sizes and slower in the small ones, with an incredible amount of power and easiness to ride “unhooked”. After using the kite every day for a week we found the Obsession to be the kite that does everything for us. It goes upwind better, it jumps bigger and more vertically, it kiteloops with a little more power to get you through the tricks, but not too much to get you off your line, and when you get the Obsession to ride waves and unhooked it makes you look like a hero! With the new bar setup the Obsession offers 100% depower with a level of stability and control that we haven't seen on any other kite till today.
